You will deliver targeted lessons, use performance metrics to tailor sessions, and maintain high energy to motivate students. A credential in structured literacy or a Master’s in reading instruction is required.

Qualifications

• Structured-literacy certification (Orton-Gillingham, LETRS, Wilson Reading System, IMSE, or equivalent) OR a Master's in reading instruction
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline plus 2+ years of full-time K-3 structured reading instruction in the past 5 years
• Proven ability to design reading lessons and explain instructional content without a published curriculum
• Willingness to work on-site full-time at an Alpha campus in listed locations
• Willingness to work with all K-3 students and incorporate AI/adaptive-learning technologies
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Create small-group K-3 reading workshops informed by real-time adaptive-app data; use structured-literacy approaches.
• Facilitate daily motivation sessions to ensure weekly app objectives are met using Alpha's framework.
• Analyze AI-generated performance metrics to modify instruction during the day.
• Conduct running records, fluency assessments, and decoding evaluations to show progress.
• Be an engaging, high-energy adult your students want to see daily
