Job summary

Plano ISD is seeking an Elementary Teaching/ K-2 Teacher at Skaggs Elementary to provide engaging learning experiences that support students' intellectual, emotional, and social growth. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, a valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements, and ESL certification for the relevant grade bands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lessons aligned with district curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate student differences.
• Present material per TEA guidelines and school policies.
• Plan using varied instructional strategies and technology.
• Assess student learning and adjust activities accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff on IEPs and modifications.
• Maintain records and report outcomes as required.
• Involve staff in goal setting and professional development.
