Togetherhood is building a vibrant STEM teaching network in Washington DC, matching educators with after-school opportunities at schools and community sites. Roles last 6–18 weeks, with responsibilities including developing curricula, leading weekly classes, and fostering an inclusive, engaging classroom environment.

Instructors are paid per class or per-student under a contracted 1099 arrangement, with a separate materials budget available for classes requiring supplies.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching school age children
• Subject matter expertise in STEM and ability to build hands-on projects with kids
• Ability to create a fun, structured and inclusive classroom environment
