Job summary

Unlimited Instruction, LLC is seeking individuals to lead, inspire and teach students in Mobile, AL within a pathway program for special education. Candidates with any bachelor’s degree are eligible to participate and may pursue a provisional SPED license for 2026-27 and beyond.

The role focuses on classroom teaching in a pathway program, with duties including developing lessons, assessing progress, and collaborating with staff to support students with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Completion of foundations of special education course or willingness to take it as a condition of employment.
• Plan to obtain provisional Alabama Special Education License.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with students, peers, administrators, staff and parents.
• Assess and monitor student achievement and maintain reports.
• Design instructional activities and learning strategies.
• Manage student behavior to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Assist in management of student behaviors across school or center areas.
• Coordinate instructional activities with other staff to maximize learning.
• Participate in in-service and professional development activities and staff meetings.
• Communicate instructional expectations to students and parents.
• Collaborate with professionals to support schoolwide activities.
• Use technology to enhance learning.
• Plan lessons based on objectives for diverse learners.
• Provide development and management of IEPs/BSPs, etc.
