Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in special education from an accredited institution.

• Proven punctuality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction addressing goals within each student’s IEP.
• Assess progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Use diverse teaching techniques to meet IEP goals.
• Develop and implement annual IEP plans for students.
• Schedule and participate in IEP team meetings.
• Coordinate delivery of services per IEP.
• Serve as primary contact for parents.
• Conduct special education evaluations and reevaluations.
• Supervise educational assistants as directed.
• Complete district and state reporting requirements.
• Maintain classroom discipline and learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and service providers.
• Provide consultation on accommodations and modifications.
