Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year in Enosburg Falls, VT. Join a team focused on supporting a diverse K-12 population, with a background in speech-language pathology and pediatric healthcare experience preferred.

This full-time, on-site contract offers collaboration with SLPs and multidisciplinary staff to deliver IEP-driven instruction and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Valid certification/licensure as Special Education Teacher or SLP-CCC/CFY.
• Experience in schools, pediatrics, teletherapy, or healthcare settings.
• SLPA experience in schools or healthcare welcomed.
• Ability to support diverse learning and communication needs.
• Strong collaboration with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to upholding IEPs and best practices in special education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction and interventions to students in K-12 settings.
• Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Collaborate with speech-language professionals and support staff to foster students academic and communication growth.
• Document student progress and maintain appropriate records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and help with parent communications.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs and offer a supportive, inclusive environment.
• Remain apprised of new developments in special education and speech-language services.
