Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a full-time, onsite School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support district partners for the upcoming school year. You will evaluate and treat students, develop IEPs, and collaborate with teachers and families to advance communication goals.

The role emphasizes direct therapy in individual and small group settings, meticulous documentation, and participation in IEP meetings. A VT license and CCC-SLP are preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required or equivalent.
  • Active VT SLP license or eligibility to obtain before start.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills essential.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery.

We’re seeking a full-time, onsite School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our district partners for the upcoming school year! This is a great opportunity to support students in developing their communication skills while working in a collaborative and supportive school environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
  • Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license in the state of VT (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery
  • Work in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidays
