Science Academies of NY is seeking a knowledgeable SANY Science Curriculum Coordinator to lead and enhance science programs for grades K-12. The role involves aligning the curriculum with educational standards, analyzing student performance, and conducting professional development workshops for educators. Candidates should have a Master’s in Science Education, at least 5 years of K-12 teaching experience, and expertise in curriculum design and NGSS alignment. A valid New York teaching certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Science Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience in K–12 science.
• Demonstrated expertise in science curriculum design and NGSS alignment.

• Lead and enhance science programs across all SANY schools.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of current science programs.
