Job summary

Success Academy Charter Schools is seeking a Senior Specialist, Science to lead curriculum design and teacher development across 50+ schools in our New York network. You will steer the multi-year science program, creating high-quality resources and training leaders and teachers to raise student mastery and reasoning in Science.

The role requires a bachelor's in a scientific field, strong leadership and communication, and a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field is required.
• Experience in a school leadership or teacher leader role is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Growth mindset with ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Demonstrated work ethic and ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Design, revise, and execute a rigorous Science curriculum aligned to a multi-year program vision.
• Build and improve high-quality lesson materials, assessments, and instructional resources.
• Lead training for school-based faculty and leaders to enhance instructional practice in Science.
• Analyze implementation and student outcome data to identify gaps and drive targeted improvements.
