Job summary

Success Academy Charter Schools is seeking a Curriculum and Implementation Senior Specialist, Science in New York. You will design and implement a rigorous Science curriculum across multiple schools and lead the development of lesson materials, assessments, and instructional resources.

You will train school-based staff, mentor leaders, and use data to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in science instruction, aligning with the organization’s pedagogical vision for a multi-school

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or related field.
• Experience in a school leadership or teacher-leader role (e.g., Assistant Principal, Grade Team Lead).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to motivate and hold others accountable.
• Growth mindset and willingness to rapidly learn, adapt, and improve practice.

Responsibilities

• Design, revise, and execute a rigorous science curriculum aligned to a multi-year program vision.
• Build and improve high-quality lesson materials, assessments, and instructional resources.
• Lead training for school-based faculty and leaders to drive student reasoning and mastery in Science.
• Analyze implementation and student outcome data to identify gaps and drive targeted improvements.
