Job summary

Providence Hall Charter School in Herriman is seeking a part-time Food Services Floater to support breakfast and lunch operations across Elementary, Junior High, and High School campuses. Up to 20 hours weekly, shifts 9:00 AM–2:00 PM on school days.

Responsibilities include assisting with food prep, serving meals, monitoring students, and keeping the kitchen clean. A Food Handler's permit is required within 2 weeks of starting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Comfortable working in a loud, busy school environment.
• Willing to obtain a Food Handler's permit within 2 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Work at any of the three campuses as assigned, adapting to each kitchen's setup, staff, and routines.
• Monitor students during breakfast and/or lunch.
• Assist with food preparation and portioning under kitchen staff direction.
• Serve meals to students according to menus and portion guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and sanitize surfaces.
