Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to multitask in a busy school environment.
• Willing to obtain a Food Handler's permit within 2 weeks of starting.
• Pass a comprehensive background check and provide references as a condition of employment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and move about the cafeteria as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students during breakfast and/or lunch.
• Assist with food preparation and serving according to menus and portion guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
• Wipe tables, sweep under tables, and assist with breaking down cafeteria setups.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the Food Services department and school community.
