Job summary

Parkhill is seeking a Project Architect to provide project-wide design and technical leadership in our Texas offices. As Professional of Record, you will ensure design intent, technical quality and project requirements are integrated into deliverables and documentation.

You will lead coordination with project managers, clients, consultants and contractors, oversee production of drawings and specs, and guide the team through construction administration while upholding Parkhill's quality standards

Qualifications

• Professional Architecture License required.
• 5+ years of relevant architectural experience.
• Experience coordinating project controls and Construction Administration.
• Proficiency with architectural design software (Revit, MOS, Bluebeam).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides project-wide design and technical leadership, oversight, and coordination.
• Serves as Professional of Record on projects of various scales and complexity.
• Applies sound professional judgement and technical expertise to guide project execution.
• Partners with Project Managers in development and maintenance of scope, budget, schedule, and labor resource plans.
• Translates project scope into coordinated deliverables and documentation strategies.
• Prepares, reviews and oversees production of drawings, specifications, and other required technical documentation.
• Leads Construction Administration and resolution of design-related issues.
• Leads interface with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors regarding design and technical related aspects of the project.
• Implements and oversees Parkhill's quality control, risk management and project delivery standard practices for the project design and deliverables.
• Other duties as assigned.
