Job summary

Parkhill is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and successful delivery of design and construction projects from initiation through closeout in the Texas region. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality while serving clients and project teams as a trusted advisor.

The role involves mentoring Assistant Project Managers, coordinating with design teams, contractors, and authorities, and developing Project Execution Plans to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Experience managing capital projects across public/private sectors; familiarity with multiple delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and objectives.
• Develops and implements Project Execution Plans defining delivery strategy, scope, schedule, budget, procurement, and controls.
• Drives coordination among clients, design teams, consultants, contractors, authorities, and stakeholders for timely decisions and delivery.
• Establishes and monitors project schedules, milestones, and mitigates risks with recovery strategies.
• Manages budgets, contracts, invoices, changes, and forecasts; identifies cost impacts and advises leadership.
• Mentors Assistant Project Managers and supports professional development.
• Preconstruction activities including design coordination, constructability reviews, budgeting, and procurement planning.
