Job summary

Parkhill in Oklahoma City seeks a Project Architect to provide design and technical leadership, serving as Professional of Record and ensuring design intent and quality across the project. This is a full-time salaried position with bi-weekly payroll.

The role requires licensure and several years of architectural experience, with strong leadership and collaboration as you coordinate with project teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions for K-12 projects.

Qualifications

• Professional Architecture License is required.
• At least 5 years of architectural experience.
• Ability to lead projects and manage scope, budget, and schedule.
• Experience with project controls and Construction Administration.
• Proficiency with Revit, MOS and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Provides project-wide design and technical leadership, oversight, and coordination
• Serves as Professional of Record on projects of various scales and complexity
• Applies sound professional judgement and technical expertise to guide project execution
• Partners with Project Managers in development and maintenance of scope, budget, schedule, and labor resource plans
• Translates project scope into coordinated deliverables and documentation strategies
• Prepares, reviews and oversees production of drawings, specifications, and other required technical documentation
• Leads Construction Administration and resolution of design-related issues
• Leads interface with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors regarding design and technical related aspects of the project
• Implements and oversees Parkhill's quality control, risk management and project delivery standard practices for the project design and deliverables
• Other duties as assigned.
