Job summary
Clayton Valley Charter High School is seeking an IT Support Systems Technician to provide technical support, and assist in the program applications of microcomputers and peripherals; installs software programs, analyzes and corrects problems, and does related work as required.
The position requires a blend of training and experience, strong knowledge of hardware/software, and experience with school information systems, networks, and office applications.
Qualifications
- Two years combined clerical or school support experience preferred.
- Knowledge of microcomputer hardware and software capabilities.
- Experience with databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Understanding of school district software and hardware used in schools.
- Skill in installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair of computer equipment.
- Experience installing drivers and maintaining LANs and network applications.
- Strong coordination, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to operate computer terminals and diagnose system failures.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for microcomputers and peripherals.
- Install software programs and analyze/correct problems.
- Assist in program applications and related work as required.
