Job summary

Cedar Rapids Community School District seeks an IT Hardware Specialist to plan, coordinate, and purchase district hardware. You will work with staff and vendors to ensure timely hardware delivery and accurate asset records.

The role supports the Operations Team, participates in district site walkthroughs, and keeps current with instructional technology trends across Chrome, Windows, and Apple environments.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher with related experience (5 years with assoc., 3 years with bachelor’s).
• Or seven years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in K-12 tech environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and purchase IT hardware with vendors and CRCSD staff.
• Maintain accurate hardware records in the inventory system.
• Assist Operations with IT project planning and site walkthroughs.
• Keep up to date with instructional technology hardware and software trends.
