Job summary

Tulsa Public Schools is seeking a Coordinator of Gifted and Talented to lead the K-12 G/T program, design and evaluate service delivery, oversee screening/identification, and manage budget and reporting. The role chairs the district advisory committee and partners with leadership to advocate for gifted students.

The candidate will work with district and state plans to ensure compliance and quality of services, leveraging teaching experience to guide program development and mentor instructional

Qualifications

• 3+ years teaching experience in gifted and talented education
• Supervisory experience in gifted and talented education
• Experience developing a successful gifted program
• Oklahoma teaching certification required
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Plan and evaluate the districtwide K-12 G/T service delivery model
• Oversee district G/T screening and identification
• Manage the G/T budget and state reporting
• Monitor school-based G/T services for compliance with district and state plans
• Chairs the District Gifted and Talented Advisory Committee
