Job summary

Tulsa Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Program Coordinator to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of district-wide programs for students with disabilities. The role collaborates with the Special Education Supervisor of Programs to ensure alignment with state and federal mandates and district priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with three (3) years of successful experience in special education, program coordination, or related fields
• Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate in special education and a valid Driver’s License
• Proficiency in data analysis, communication, and collaboration with diverse teams

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the design, implementation, and evaluation of special education programs district-wide
• Ensure services comply with IDEA and state/federal mandates
• Support LRE decisions and inclusive instructional practices
• Develop and deliver professional development for educators to strengthen instructional effectiveness
• Analyze program data to inform decisions and improve outcomes
• Serve as liaison among educators, families, and community stakeholders
