Job summary

Unlimited Instruction, LLC is seeking a K-12 Pathway Program Teacher (Special Education) to serve students in the Northumberland County, VA area. This role focuses on designing instructional strategies and managing student behaviors within a pathway program.

Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution are eligible and may work toward a provisional Virginia SPED license for 2026-27 and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university or institution.
• Foundations of special education course or willingness to take it as a term of employment.
• Pursue provisional Special Education license from the state of Virginia.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers, administrators, support staff and parents.
• Continually assess and monitor student achievement and maintain all documents and evaluations for reporting purposes.
• Design and implement appropriate instructional and/or learning strategies and activities.
• Manage student behaviors to create a conducive learning environment.
• Coordinate instructional activities with other professional staff as required to maximize learning opportunities.
• Participate in in-service and professional development activities and staff meetings.
