Prisms VR, a San Francisco-based educator, game developer, and engineer team, is seeking a Director of Strategic Growth & Institutional Funding to accelerate revenue by securing federal, state, and private funding for K-12 districts.

You will blend grant-writing prowess with business development, translating edtech features into funded outcomes, building toolkits, and guiding partnerships with SEAs, RESAs, and foundations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of grant writing, procurement, or edtech business development.
• Deep understanding of K-12 funding structures and ESSA titles.
• Proven track record securing six- and seven-figure grants or contracts.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling; able to explain tech in pedagogical terms.
• Strong project management to meet multiple grant deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Draft persuasive grant proposals, notes, and RFPs tailored to K-12 buyers.
• Align product features with funding goals for districts and foundations.
• Build grant toolkits, templates, and boilerplates for districts.
• Monitor post-award reporting and impact metrics.
• Research funding streams and identify new market opportunities for sales.
