Job summary

Prisms VR is seeking a Director of Strategic Growth & Institutional Funding to accelerate revenue by securing federal, state, and private funds for K-12 education technology. This remote-friendly role blends grant writing with business development to unlock funding and scale adoption of our VR learning platform.

You'll build partnerships with SEAs, RESAs, and philanthropies, translating product capabilities into fundable outcomes, and lead a team that aligns strategy with district budgets for

Qualifications

• 4+ years in K-12 grant writing, educational procurement, or edtech business development.
• Deep understanding of K-12 funding structures including ESSA Titles and state allocations.
• Proven success in securing six- and seven-figure grants or public sector contracts.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills to explain complex products simply.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple grant deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Draft compelling grant proposals, concept notes, and RFPs for K-12 buyers.
• Translate product features into funded educational outcomes matching goals of grant makers.
• Create turnkey grant toolkits, templates, and boilerplates for districts to apply for funding.
• Monitor post-award reporting and impact metrics to ensure renewals and retention.
• Identify funding pipelines and advise sales teams on leveraging funding streams.
