Job summary

Cengage is seeking a results-driven sales professional to drive education product adoption across a defined territory in the United States. You will engage with prospective customers, present digital and print solutions, and consistently meet or exceed annual sales targets.

You will develop strategic territory plans, forecast activity, and participate in industry events to build a robust pipeline while collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with minimum 2 years teaching and education sales experience.
• Demonstrated track record of sales growth and meeting goals.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
• Proven territory management and organization skills.
• Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office; ability to lift 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers to explore and present product solutions for our digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools and historical data.
• Participate in network building opportunities within territory, including conferences and industry functions.
• Other duties as needed.
