Job summary

STV Construction Incorporated seeks a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead K-12 school projects from planning through handover, coordinating with districts, architects, engineers, and contractors. You will develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans; manage invoices, and lead regular meetings with stakeholders to track progress and resolve issues.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in CM/CE/Architecture, 5+ years’ experience, PMP/LEED preferred, and proficiency with Procore

• Strong understanding of construction processes, including project management, site development, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of K-12 construction projects, including planning, design, procurement, and handover.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Lead pre-construction meetings and coordinate with school district personnel to align goals with district objectives.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and environmental standards; maintain site safety and obtain permits.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; resolve issues to minimize schedule impact.
• Monitor quality through site visits and ensure final construction meets specifications.
• Oversee post-construction handover, documentation, warranties, and close-out activities.
