Job summary

Imperial Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations for commercial projects in the Dallas area, with emphasis on K-12 school construction. You will plan, coordinate, supervise, and ensure quality and safety on site while maintaining schedule and budget.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of field leadership, a proven track record on multi-million-dollar projects, and strong communication with owners, architects, and subs. Dallas-area residency preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of commercial construction field leadership experience.
• Experience as Superintendent on projects valued at $30M+.
• Experience leading projects through a full lifecycle.
• Experience supervising field personnel and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, quality standards, and safety.
• Strong scheduling, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple field priorities while maintaining momentum.
• Excellent communication with owners, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, scheduling software, Procore.
• A project list with previous projects and contract values is required.
• Three references from project owners/architects are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations, planning, scheduling, and coordination.
• Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and construction activities.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and sequencing to support the project schedule.
• Review work and materials for compliance with contract documents and standards.
• Keep field activities aligned with project schedule and budget.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
• Identify field issues early and develop practical solutions with the project team.
• Coordinate day-to-day jobsite activities with project management and other team members.
• Communicate effectively with owners, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Lead field-related project meetings and document discussions and actions.
• Monitor progress and report field conditions that affect schedule or quality.
• Serve as Imperial's primary field representative on the jobsite.
