Job summary

Imperial Construction in the Dallas area seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on commercial projects, with emphasis on K-12 school construction. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise field activities to keep projects moving safely, on schedule, and within budget, while ensuring quality.

The ideal candidate has five+ years of field leadership experience, a proven ability to manage subcontractors, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred but not required.
• Relevant commercial construction experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Hands-on field leadership and project experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations, planning, scheduling, and coordination.
• Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and construction activities.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to support the project schedule.
• Review work for compliance with contract documents and quality standards.
• Maintain safety, organization, and productivity on the jobsite.
• Identify field issues and develop practical solutions with the team.
• Communicate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Lead project meetings and document discussions and actions.
• Monitor progress and flag risks to schedule or budget.
