Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a multidisciplinary team and help students develop life skills aligned with their IEPs. Join a program backed by PBIS CASE and a wide network of districts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP.
• Develop and modify behavior support plans.
• Record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
