Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is hiring a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will work one-on-one with assigned students, implement behavior support plans, collect data, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help students meet IEP goals. Strong communication with parents is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (required).
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions in educational settings is preferred.
• Experience with intensive behavioral needs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a student to meet IEP goals with accommodations.
• Assist in developing and modifying behavior support plans.
• Implement plans and record data on behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Use behavior support and de-escalation strategies.
• Ensure safety with crisis management and, if needed, physical restraint.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Supervise students during transit to and from locations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement plans.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
