Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager, Academics to support the implementation and continuous improvement of the K12 academic strategy. You will translate priorities into plans, tools, and school-facing supports that strengthen instruction and student outcomes.

The role manages the School Playbook process, analyzes data across schools, and helps scale effective practices. You will develop frameworks, guides, and resources, coordinate professional learning, and collaborate with multiple teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
  • 5+ years in K-12 education or related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience coordinating complex projects across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience using academic data to identify trends and inform decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Translate strategic priorities into plans, processes, tools, resources, and school-facing supports.
  • Manage key components of the annual School Playbook process: timelines, templates, guidance, communications, review workflows, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Review school Playbooks to ensure quality, coherence, and alignment with expectations.
  • Coordinate Playbook review and feedback, track revisions and themes, and apply quality standards across schools.
  • Analyze Playbooks, implementation evidence, and performance data to identify patterns and opportunities.
  • Synthesize findings across schools and document scalable evidence-informed practices.
  • Develop and maintain academic frameworks, implementation guides, tools, and exemplars.
  • Support implementation and monitoring of academic initiatives, identify barriers, and propose adjustments based on data and feedback.
  • Collaborate with school and portfolio leaders to gather feedback and drive adoption of priorities.
  • Develop and coordinate professional learning, communications, and resources related to academic strategy and School Playbook.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination for assigned initiatives.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to support aligned implementation.
  • Prepare analyses and recommendations for leadership on performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor outcomes and drive continuous improvement of processes and tools.
