Job summary

Nampa School District 131 is seeking a Head Coach for the softball program. The role focuses on motivating and developing athletes' skills, leadership, and good character, while organizing practices and game plans.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and preferred Idaho teaching certification with first aid/CPR; experience coaching is desirable. This is a temporary coaching position within the Athletics department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Idaho teaching certification or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Certification in first aid and CPR required.
• Coaching or athletic training certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Attend tryouts, practice meetings, and in-school events; supervise students during related activities.
• Organize practice schedules and game rosters.
• Assign positions to players and develop strategies.
• Attend meetings, supervise fundraisers, and prepare students for competitions.
• Coach softball and develop skill development for athletes.
• Track performance and maintain stat sheets for players.
