Nampa School District #131 in Idaho is seeking an Assistant Coach in the Athletics department to motivate and develop student-athletes in softball, promoting fair play, teamwork, and personal growth.

The role includes organizing practice schedules, helping assign positions, tracking student performance, coordinating transportation and event logistics, and ensuring safety and compliance with district policies; previous coaching or certification in first aid/ CPR preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Idaho Teaching Certification, American Sport Education Program Certification, or National Federation of Interscholastic Coaches Association Certification strongly preferred
• Certification or willingness to obtain certification in first aid and CPR required

Responsabilidades

• Attend tryouts, practice meetings, and in-school events; supervise field trips and related activities
• Assist with organizing practice schedules and game rosters
• Assist with assigning positions and developing strategies and styles of play
• Attend out-of-school meetings, supervise fundraisers, and help students prepare for competitions
• Coach softball for players of varying abilities and develop performance tracking
