Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections seeks a Rehabilitation Supervisor in Lewiston to lead staff, coordinate treatment plans, and ensure safe, disciplined operations within a secure facility. The role emphasizes risk management, teamwork, and adherence to POST standards.

You will supervise shifts, train staff, monitor rehabilitation services, and support juveniles through coordinated interventions while maintaining compliance with state policies and safety requirements.

Formación

• Must meet entrance requirements and become certified by the Idaho Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Academy.
• Knowledge of intervention, counseling, and group facilitation methods for juveniles.
• Experience with supervision and writing clear reports.

Responsabilidades

• Staff supervision and scheduling; training and evaluating staff; enforcing policies and procedures.
• Coordinate treatment strategies; chair team meetings; monitor documentation of services; provide counseling as needed.
• Supervise juveniles to ensure safety, security, and compliance with rules; respond to incidents and assist in searches when required.
• Plan and oversee unit activities; ensure cleanliness, safety, and security; maintain records and prepare reports.
