Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid state-issued license.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children.
• Two years of social services education may substitute for the required experience.
• Background checks must be passable.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States and able to provide verification.
• Must complete and maintain all agency training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise safe and therapeutic recreational programming that supports treatment goals.
• Provide direction for outdoor and indoor activities for youth.
• Develop and coordinate arts, crafts, and environmental education activities.
• Monitor program expenses and recommend budget considerations.
• Train and mentor staff to ensure safety and quality of care.
