Job summary

The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) in Seattle, WA, seeks a Community Reentry Services Manager (WMS1) for a non-permanent appointment lasting up to one year. You will oversee regional parole supervision and community aftercare services to support at-risk youth reentry.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing contracts with Juvenile Courts and providers, promoting equity, ensuring quality, and compliance with policy directives.

Qualifications

• Seven years of professional experience in juvenile justice with supervisory experience.
• Knowledge/accreditation in Functional Family Parole (FFP) interventions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree with substitution rules for supervisory requirement.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff, supervise, evaluate, and train employees.
• Promote diversity and inclusive workplace strategies.
• Oversee implementation of FFP interventions and supervise case managers.
• Ensure compliance with Governor’s Reentry Order and monitor contracts.
• Lead cognitive/behavioral treatment interventions with youth and families.
• Facilitate Reentry Team Meetings for youth reentry.
• Negotiate and manage contracts and grants with juvenile courts.
• Conduct compliance audits for community programs.
