The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is accepting applications for a Community Reentry Services Manager (WMS1) to assist the Regional Administrator in the planning, implementation, staff utilization and monitoring of regional parole and community services aftercare supports. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of Juvenile Rehabilitation's local parole supervision and community aftercare services. You will plan, organize, lead, and manage the work performed by the regional office, providing direct supervision to community counseling staff and other regional staff as assigned. Your responsibilities will include optimizing the use of regional resources, enhancing employee effectiveness through timely appraisals and professional development, and ensuring the successful execution of at-risk youth prevention programs in collaboration with local Juvenile Courts. Additionally, you will monitor the local contract for oversight of the monthly Juvenile Court Block Grant and detention billings.
Seven years of professional experience overseeing significant project or program implementation in a juvenile justice setting, AND one year of supervisory experience. Demonstrated knowledge and/or accreditation in Functional Family Parole (FFP) interventions with the ability to provide clinical consultation and quality assurance oversight to FFP case managers.
Two years of experience as a JR Specialist, AND no less than two years managing current juvenile justice interventions with expertise and/or knowledge in juvenile justice trends within the last ten years may substitute for one year of supervisory experience.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Public Administration, Social Sciences or a closely allied field AND five years of professional experience overseeing significant project or program implementation in a juvenile justice setting, AND one year of supervisory experience. Demonstrated knowledge and/or accreditation in Functional Family Parole (FFP) interventions with the ability to provide clinical consultations and quality assurance oversight to FFP case managers.
A master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Public Administration, Social Sciences or a closely allied field, AND four years of professional experience overseeing significant project or program implementation in a juvenile justice setting, AND one year of supervisory experience. Demonstrated knowledge and/or accreditation in Functional Family Parole (FFP) interventions with the ability to provide clinical consultation and quality assurance oversight to FFP case managers.
