Job summary

State of Tennessee seeks an Intelligence Analyst for the Juvenile Justice Policy & Programs team in Shelby County. The role locates missing children, analyzes information, and supports cross-agency information sharing to safeguard youth in DCS custody.

Responsibilities include gathering data from NCIC, TBI Fusion Center, and court records, while ensuring privacy standards and accurate record-keeping within TFACTS.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience substitution: full-time experience in intelligence analysis, corrections, criminal justice, law enforcement, probation or parole, case management may substitute for education up to four years.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between the agency and public, other agencies, law enforcement, courts and partners to explain operations and support safe return and placement of children.
• Gather and collate information on missing children and threats, assess credibility and analyze data for strategic, operational, and planning purposes.
• Ensure privacy and confidentiality standards; input data into the TFACTS system and maintain records per guidelines.
• Utilize federal, state, local, private sector and open sources to generate leads and research absences from DCS custody.
