Job summary

Arizona Department of Child Safety seeks an Investigative Analyst to conduct open-source and ACJIS-enabled investigations from the Office of Child Welfare Investigations in Phoenix. The role focuses on research, analysis, and dissemination of findings to authorized personnel.

The analyst will serve as an ACJIS ASSO specialist, create analytical products, and collaborate with law enforcement partners while updating techniques and tools used in investigations.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication skills required.
• Experience in researching, compiling and analyzing data.
• Familiarity with ACJIS rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Researches, compiles, processes, and analyzes investigative information from multiple databases and open sources.
• Serves as ACJIS ASSO; maintain compliance and train personnel.
• Creates visual representations (timelines, charts, maps) for investigations and court proceedings.
• Collaborates with law enforcement and justice agencies; briefs OCWI leadership.
• Stay up to date on research techniques and advancements in the field.
