Allied Universal is seeking a Juvenile Corrections Security Officer in Ridgeville, SC. The role involves managing entry points, verifying credentials, and providing professional customer service at a government juvenile services location.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. The job includes day and night shifts with a rotating schedule and requires a valid driver’s license along with background and health screening as per policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, youth residents, and other authorized individuals while carrying out access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Control access to restricted areas per government facility procedures and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations following established protocols and contacting emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
