Ohio Department of Youth Services in Massillon, Ohio seeks an experienced Investigations liaison to support Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility operations. You will coordinate with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, facility leadership, and DYS inspectors to ensure safety and integrity of youth and staff interactions.

The role involves handling investigations, monitoring interactions, and supporting the grievance process while ensuring compliance with state policies.

Formación

• Undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science, pre-medicine, or public/business administration; 18 months of experience in delivery of human services or medical assistance in governmental or private settings; 6 months of supervisory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as liaison between Facility Superintendent, DYS Chief Inspectors Office, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and other law enforcement agencies regarding investigations involving youth or staff.
• Monitor youth phone systems, visitation activity, and related interactions to identify violations.
• Initiate, inspect, and assist with investigations related to drugs, contraband, and other prohibited activities.
• Collaborate with DYS Chief Inspectors Office to provide information related to employee impropriety or policy breaches by staff or visitors.
• Coordinate youth grievance process and respond to complaints and inquiries arising from the grievance process.
