Youth Services - Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility in Massillon, OH, is hiring a Youth Specialist (Juvenile Correctional Officer). You will provide safety, supervision and mentoring for youth, applying de-escalation skills and clear documentation. The role demands strong leadership and teamwork in a 24/7 facility.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to supervise and mentor youth in a corrections setting.
• Prior security and criminology insight is preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safety, security, custodial care and surveillance of assigned youth.
• Observe, intervene and de-escalate youth behavior and conflicts.
• Oversee movement on facility grounds and during family visits.
• Complete required documents such as reports and logs.
• Support staff leadership and collaboration with division leadership.
