Job summary

Tulsa County is seeking a Juvenile Detention intake professional to perform admissions, provide security, and coordinate with staff in a juvenile detention setting. The role supports the intake process and maintains records and compliance with policies and procedures.

Candidates must meet education or experience requirements and be prepared to navigate behavioral and counseling-oriented duties within a detention environment. This position is offered with full-time/part-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• 60 college credits from an accredited college or university, and over one year of satisfactory full time paid employment in social work, juvenile; or a combination of education and work experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Process all admissions and releases of juveniles.
• Provide security for those arriving and pending assignment to a detention unit.
• Conduct searches of the juvenile and possessions; record and store property and records.
