Job summary

The City of Lewisville offers an internship in the Juvenile Case Management program in Lewisville, Texas. This role shadows court activities, assists with docket preparation, and helps coordinate community service opportunities and Neighborhood Night Out events.

You will gain exposure to municipal court processes and public safety collaborations. As a full-time student, you will contribute to community outreach while developing professional skills in a local government setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student studying Criminal Justice or related social science.
• Six months of work experience preferred.
• Background check and pre-employment drug test required; valid Texas Driver’s License Class C.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily activities of management of juvenile cases, including attending municipal court juvenile proceedings.
• Assist with juvenile docket preparation.
• Assist with maintaining list of service agencies for community service opportunities.
• Plan and implement the Courts’ participation in National Neighborhood Night Out.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
