Job summary

The City of Lewisville is offering an internship in the Parks and Recreation Department. The intern will coordinate projects related to developing a recreation programming plan, with research, analysis, and implementation, and assist with CAPRA accreditation efforts.

You must be enrolled in a college program and have a High School Diploma or GED. The role requires basic office skills, a Texas driver’s license, and up to 20 hours per week at $16.67 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled in a college/university program pursuing a degree in a related field.
• One year of clerical/administrative experience preferred.
• Experience in recreation administration or urban planning preferred.
• Possession of a valid Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from research to implementation.
• Present final product to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with CAPRA accreditation research, development, and implementation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
