Job summary

Segula Technologies in Auburn, AL seeks a Validation Engineer to define, author, maintain, and govern customer-level requirements supporting current and future vehicle programs.

You will collaborate with Product Planning, Core Engineering, Systems Engineering, HMI, Software, Hardware, and Validation teams to translate customer needs into clear, testable, and traceable requirements aligned with corporate milestones.

Qualifications

• Own and govern customer-level requirements throughout product lifecycle.
• Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and testable with traceability to higher-level objectives.
• Create, review, and maintain acceptance criteria in collaboration with development and validation teams.
• Translate customer and business needs into measurable, verifiable inputs for vehicle programs.

Responsibilities

• Authoring and lifecycle management of requirements across programs.
• Define verification methods and confirm requirement coverage with validation teams.
• Maintain bidirectional traceability and assess impacts of changes on program objectives.
• Lead platform tailoring and decompose customer needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
