Aufgaben

• Lead the development and validation of Vehicle Dynamics functionality as it relates to overall chassis quality and warranty performance.
• Execute safety analyses and maintain knowledge of ISO 26262 to support safety-related requirement definition, allocation, traceability, and verification.
• Minimize vehicle and suspension sensitivity to road surface forces, assembly build variations, vehicular architecture, and component wear.
• Manage quality testing activities across all program phases—from early target setting and design definition to prototype and pre-production (pilot) testing.
• Mitigate performance issues such as brake rotor wear (judder), tire/wheel imbalance, vehicle lead/drift/pull, steering wander, torque steer, and vehicle shake/ride.
• Perform in-vehicle accelerometer measurements (instrumentation, data processing, and interpretation) per quality test standards; analyze data to identify safety or vibration concerns.
• Identify potential hazards associated with braking, steering, suspension, and vehicle dynamics; evaluate how component failures, wear, and build tolerances impact stability and controllability.
• Support root-cause investigations for chassis safety and quality concerns, document findings, validate corrective actions, and recommend design improvements to mitigate risk.
