Job summary

Segula Technologies in Michigan is seeking a Validation Engineer to define, author, maintain and govern customer-level requirements for current and future vehicle programs. You will collaborate with Product Planning, Core Engineering, Systems Engineering, HMI, Software, Hardware and Validation teams to translate customer needs into clear, testable requirements aligned with program milestones.

Responsibilities include ownership of requirements across the lifecycle, creating and reviewing test

Qualifications

• Own the creation, authoring, review, baselining, maintenance, and status tracking of requirements across the product lifecycle.
• Analyze requirements to ensure clarity, completeness, consistency, feasibility, unambiguity, testability, and alignment with objectives and standards.
• Write test requirements and acceptance criteria with full traceability to customer and system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and decomposition of customer needs into platform-level functional and non-functional requirements.
• Tailor platform requirements for program applications, documenting deviations and maintaining alignment with feature intent.
• Use benchmarking and customer feedback to translate needs into measurable inputs.
