Job summary

MedPro Group, a Berkshire Hathaway insurance company, seeks an entry-level associate underwriter to support underwriting teams with data entry, client service, and policy issuance. You will maintain a small LPL book and assist other underwriters as needed.

You will analyze risks, propose pricing structures, and communicate with internal teams to meet MedPro Group’s client-focused standards, with travel to support partners as required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business or related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; able to learn company systems.
• Insurance or office experience is a plus.
• Additional insurance-focused education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze LPL risks with guidance from experienced underwriters.
• Perform data entry, client service, and policy/endorsement issuance.
• Maintain a small book of LPL business with supervision.
• Communicate with internal teams to support growth and retention.
• Travel with experienced underwriter to assist distribution partners.
