Job summary

Pérez Law, PC in California is seeking a new graduate or early-career attorney to gain real courtroom experience in workers' compensation and personal injury. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship from firm partners, with opportunities to handle hearings, depositions, and settlements early in your career.

Flexible work arrangements, base salary starting at $100,000 plus DOE, and a performance bonus plan are offered along with benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in hearings, trials, depositions, cross-examinations, and settlement negotiations with mentorship support.
• Prepare and file legal documents; review medical/legal records to build cases.
• Communicate directly with clients, insurers, and medical providers.
• Collaborate with case managers and legal assistants who support the caseload administratively.
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Maintain compliance with firm policy, ethical standards, and CA WC regulations.
