Poulin | Willey seeks an experienced Trial Lawyer to join our growing personal injury team across California. You must hold an active California license in good standing and be prepared to own a caseload through filing, discovery, hearings, mediations, and trial.

You will take ownership of matters from filing through discovery, hearings, mediations, and trial. We offer a base of $112,500 plus bonus potential, with room for growth as you represent clients throughout California.

Qualifications

• Active membership in the California bar, in good standing.
• Ideally 3+ years of litigation/trial experience in personal injury or related areas, but willing to train those with less experience.
• Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in personal injury matters from initial litigation through settlement or verdict.
• Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Handle mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings, including jury selection, opening/closing statements, and examinations.
• Collaborate with paralegals and litigation support staff to ensure thorough case preparation.

We are dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients and are looking for an attorney with strong courtroom skills, proven litigation experience, and a commitment to client service. : This role can sit ANYWHERE in California! Must have an active CA Law License. The compensation for this role includes a base of $112,500 plus a bonus percentage. Trial Lawyers typically average $150,000 - $1850,000 in year one.
