WSP USA in Florida seeks an Early Career Civil Engineer to join the Southeast Transportation Engineering Team, based in Tampa or Orlando. This full-time role offers growth in design and construction for transportation projects, and the chance to contribute to critical infrastructure initiatives.

You will assist in preliminary and final design, develop documentation, perform basic CAD tasks, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or closely related discipline.
• 0–1 year of relevant post-education experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Self-leadership with attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet objectives.
• Proficiency with technical writing, software, spreadsheets, and technology.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as project needs require.

Responsabilités

• Assist and support design teams in project delivery across highway and transportation projects.
• Provide technical input during preliminary and final design and contract documentation.
• Perform basic design tasks, engineering calculations, and CAD drawings.
• Coordinate with team members and attend design meetings.
• Develop memorandums and written technical documents.
• Maintain positive team relationships and support cross-discipline collaboration.
